Why won't JUCY accept my promo code for a New Zealand campervan booking?
A JUCY code may require your booking to meet all of these conditions:
- You book during the stated booking window.
- Your trip starts during the eligible travel period and outside any blackout period.
- You select an eligible vehicle and New Zealand branch.
- Your pick up and drop off route qualifies.
- JUCY still has an eligible vehicle available.
- You make a new direct booking.
- You are not already using another JUCY offer, voucher or reduced rate.
Check the offer page against your exact vehicle, route and travel start date.
Pro tip: Start from the offer page and use its Book now button. JUCY may carry the code into the booking engine for you.
Can I combine a JUCY promo code with an existing sale price?
No, JUCY does not combine these promo codes with another discount, voucher or promotional offer. Some sale prices apply automatically when your route, vehicle and dates qualify.
Pro tip: If an offer page says Promotion code: Not required, leave the code field empty to test the automatic price.
Why did JUCY take less than the advertised percentage off my total?
JUCY calculates rental codes against the base daily hire rate, not every charge in your booking. One way fees, location surcharges, optional extras, excess reduction products, bonds and road user charges may remain at their normal amounts.
For example, if your eligible daily hire is NZ$800 and you add NZ$100 in location charges and NZ$200 in optional extras, a 10 percent code takes NZ$80 off. You pay NZ$720 plus NZ$300, for a final total of NZ$1,020.
Check the daily hire line rather than applying the percentage to the entire booking total.
Can I add a JUCY promo code after I have already booked?
No, JUCY rental offers require you to apply the code while making a new direct booking. JUCY does not add these codes retrospectively to an existing reservation.
Contact JUCY before cancelling or changing anything. A replacement booking remains subject to current availability, pricing and cancellation conditions.
Pro tip: Give JUCY your confirmation number and the code when you contact support so the team can check your reservation without risking the existing vehicle.
Should I use a JUCY promo code or the Price Match Pledge?
Use the Price Match Pledge when another seller shows the same JUCY campervan model for less with identical dates, locations and currency. The competing rate must still be available when JUCY checks it.
You must submit proof within 24 hours after confirming a booking, or within five days if you have a quotation. JUCY matches the qualifying daily vehicle rate and currently lowers it by another 5 percent. The price match cannot be combined with a promo code, and additional charges remain outside the comparison.
Pro tip: Capture the competing total, currency, vehicle model, dates, locations and time shown so JUCY can verify the request.
Do Velocity members get a JUCY promo discount?
No, JUCY does not advertise an automatic hire price reduction for Velocity Frequent Flyer members. Eligible members instead earn points on qualifying direct campervan and motorhome bookings.
For bookings confirmed from 1 July 2026, JUCY awards 2 points per AUD equivalent of eligible spend. You must be the main driver, and your Velocity name must match the booking. Add your membership number by the day of pick up. Cars, experiences and bookings made through agents or third-party websites are excluded.
Pro tip: If you forgot your membership number during booking, add it through My Booking no later than your pick up day.
