About Farmers

Farmers is a staple of New Zealand retail, catering to shoppers who want department store quality without the luxury price tag. The shopping experience typically follows a predictable promotional calendar where almost every category rotates through discount phases. While there is a promo code field at checkout, the store rarely releases public text-based codes. Instead, they use a loyalty framework where rewards are applied as digital vouchers directly to your account. Expect most savings to come from these account-linked vouchers or from frequent Red Dot clearance events that mark the end of seasonal inventory cycles.

Sells

Prestige beauty and fragrance, men's and women's fashion, children's clothing, nursery gear, toys, bedding, kitchenware, small appliances, and furniture.

Best For

Families who want to consolidate their shopping across beauty, fashion, and home categories while accruing long-term loyalty rewards through one program.

Known For

The Red Dot Sale, their signature clearance event used to clear seasonal stock at deep discounts. They are also well-known for the Farmers Club, a loyalty program that earns you vouchers across diverse departments, including their beauty and fragrance counters.

Price Range

Mid-Range

Top Perks

Farmers Mastercard integration allows you to earn loyalty points on every purchase made wherever Mastercard is accepted, which are then combined with your standard Farmers Club rewards.
Extensive in-store beauty and makeup services from prestige brands including Chanel, Lancome, and Benefit.
Ability to earn Farmers Club points at Stevens stores.

Good to Know

Farmers does not offer a price-match guarantee and often stocks specific model versions of nursery and electronic goods to prevent direct price comparisons. Change-of-mind returns typically result in an exchange or store credit rather than a cash refund. Delivery fees apply to oversized items regardless of the total spend. Farmers Club points have different expiration periods. Beauty and Fashion points expire after 6 months, and Home points expire after 12 months. Vouchers are valid for 3 months from the date they are issued.

How to Save at Farmers

Stack multi-department purchases for loyalty vouchers:Sign up for the Farmers Club for free to start earning points toward rewards; once you collect 250 points, they are automatically converted into a $20 voucher valid for 3 months. You earn 1pt for every $1 spent on beauty and fragrance, 1pt for every $5 on fashion, and 1pt for every $10 on home goods. You can use your vouchers at checkout on the Farmers website.
Access complimentary beauty and skincare consultations:Brands like Chanel, Clarins, and Estee Lauder offer free 15-minute consultations at select stores. These sessions cover fragrance discovery, skincare rituals, and foundation shade matching.
Look for Red Dot clearance deals:Keep an eye out for Red Dot clearance events, where you will find markdowns ranging from 40% to 60% off items like clothing, toys, and beauty products.
Use the Wishlist to monitor stock levels:If you are a Farmers Club member, use the online Wishlist to track your favourite items and check stock availability. The Wishlist page displays a status message for each item, helping you prepare for discount events and move in-stock items to your cart when you are ready to shop.
Redeem beauty booking fees on product purchases:Booking fees for treatments from brands like Revlon, Lancome, and Clarins are usually fully redeemable against products you buy on the same day. This makes the service free whenever you are restocking your essentials.

Farmers promo code FAQs

Why is my Farmers promo code not working?

Check the offer terms on the relevant product page, including View all items included in this offer. A Farmers code may require selected products, a qualifying spend in named departments, one transaction or a signed-in Farmers Club account.

Codes do not normally reduce gift cards, non ranged products, Superdeals, clearance products or Red Dot items. Individual offers may exclude additional products or brands. Farmers may also replace another promotion with the better deal instead of applying both.

Pro tip: Test the code with only the listed qualifying and discounted products in your cart. This can identify an excluded product or conflicting offer before you rebuild the full order.

Can I use a Farmers promo code on sale or clearance items?

Not on clearance items, while eligibility for other sale products depends on the offer terms. Farmers calculates promotional reductions from the regular retail price and generally excludes Superdeals, clearance products and Red Dot items. Clearance pricing is the marked price, with no further reduction.

Farmers also does not combine promotions with another offer. When two offers conflict, it applies the better eligible deal.

Can I stack two Farmers promo codes or combine a code with another offer?

No. Farmers does not generally combine promotions with another offer. If a product qualifies for two promotions, Farmers may replace one with the better deal rather than add both reductions together.

For example, a 20% product offer and a 30% code would not normally produce a 50% reduction. Farmers would apply the better eligible price under the relevant terms.

Why didn’t my qualifying Farmers purchase receive the discount?

The products that meet the spending condition may only unlock the code. The offer terms determine which separate products receive the reduction.

For example, Farmers has advertised an offer requiring at least $99 of spending in listed home departments before selected furniture received 30% off. Adding $100 of qualifying Manchester products and a $269 eligible stool would reduce the stool to $188.30, making the total $288.30 before delivery. The Manchester purchase meets the spending condition but does not receive the 30% reduction.

Check the offer for two separate lists:

Products or departments that count towards the qualifying spend.
Products or brands whose prices the code reduces.

Do I need to join Farmers Club to use a promo code?

Only when the offer is marked as a Farmers Club or Just for Club promotion. For an exclusive online offer, join or sign in before checking the price. Farmers may not show the promotional price until you add the product to your cart, and guest checkout may be excluded.

Joining Farmers Club is free and available from age 16.

Pro tip: Sign in before adding Club products to your cart so you can see the eligible price before payment.

Can I enter my $20 Farmers Club voucher as a promo code?

No. Sign in with the email address connected to your Farmers Club membership, then select an available voucher on the payment page and click Redeem.

Farmers issues these vouchers in $20 amounts, and each voucher must be redeemed in full. If an eligible order costs $35 and you redeem one $20 voucher, you pay the remaining $15.

You cannot use the voucher at Goldmark or to buy gift cards. Use it within three months of earning it.

Where can I find Farmers promo codes?

Start with Farmers promo codes that DontPayFull has verified, then check the Farmers home page and promotions page. The offer panel on a relevant product page may also provide code instructions, included product links and offer terms.

If you belong to Farmers Club, check Farmers emails for Club promotions and online-only offers. Use the Farmers product page to confirm the qualifying spend, included products and exclusions that determine whether a listed code will work.
